Stand-up night by The Rat Pack Productions Ltd with comedians and TV stars from the UK and international circuits, for ages 18 and over.
The Rat Pack are back at Camden Comedy Club on Sunday 8 November, with their stand-up night The Rat Pack Stand-up Comedy Unwrapped! starting at 19:30. It's one of London's long-running comedy nights, run by The Rat Pack Productions Ltd at one of the city's top comedy venues, and it's been going for more than a decade.
The format is pretty straightforward: they pair comedians and TV stars from the UK and international circuits, who come to an intimate room to unwrap fresh new material in front of a live audience. There's a new line-up every night, so you're seeing work in progress rather than a polished set. It's the kind of night where you get to hear a comic working through a new bit before it ever makes it to a stage anywhere else.
It's a well-regarded run, too. The night has picked up multiple Time Out Critics Choice awards over the years, and Time Out described it as 'a classy stand-up show. Laid-back, joyful fun and a wonderfully friendly vibe'. That's a good way to sum up the mood — it's more about the shared experience of a room full of people watching a comic figure things out in real time than a high-pressure showcase.
