Electronic duo Overmono play The Great Hall at Alexandra Palace with special guest Blawan, marking their most ambitious show yet.
Overmono play Alexandra Palace on Wednesday 28 October, with Blawan on as special guest. It's a stop on their Pure Devotion world tour, following their second album, Pure Devotion, which came out on 7 August via XL.
Overmono are brothers Tom and Ed Russell, an electronic duo whose live show has become one of the decade's defining club experiences. They describe it as fusing emotional intensity with body-moving energy, and they call this their most ambitious show yet. The live format was first reimagined in 2024, and since then they've headlined Glastonbury's West Holts, sold out Alexandra Palace and curated Manchester's Warehouse Project.
Pure Devotion is an 11-track record built from experimental production. The brothers worked with 70s and 80s synthesisers, an antiquated train announcement speaker and a crash cymbal baked in the oven. Vocals come from poet John Joseph Holt, Kindora and Paul Institute's Ruthven. The tour takes that material out of the studio and onto the stage, with Blawan opening the night.
