Dining screening of 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' at The Moniker, with a multi-course menu served in sync with the film.
Taste Film is bringing How The Grinch Stole Christmas to The Moniker on Saturday 28 November, and it's not your usual cinema trip. The screening starts at 14:00, and the whole thing runs until Tuesday 29 December, so you've got plenty of dates to choose from if that Saturday doesn't work for you.
The format is what sets it apart: as the film plays, a bespoke multi-course menu inspired by the story arrives at your table course by course, timed to match the moments on screen. It's designed so you're eating the food as it appears in the movie, rather than just having a meal before or after. The menu draws directly from the world of the Grinch, with 'delicious garbage soup' and German Christmas Market mains, and a sweet green finale to wrap things up. If you've seen the film before, you'll recognise the references as they come out.

It's rated PG and suitable for ages five and over, so it works as a family outing as much as a date or a catch-up with friends. The venue is wheelchair accessible, too. Tickets are £87.50, and the session on Saturday 28 November kicks off at 14:00 at The Moniker, 25 Fenchurch Ave, London, EC3M 5AD.
