The biggest taco festival in Europe returns to Signature Brew with more than 15 taco vendors, a Mexican Beer Hall, mariachis, roaming luchadores and folk dancers.
The Tacover returns to Signature Brew Blackhorse Road on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, its first time back at the Walthamstow brewery in almost two years. It bills itself as the biggest taco festival in Europe and the home of the National Taco Awards, and it's a big one: more than 15 food vendors take part, each serving at least three tacos capped at £4 each, including a vegan option and a higher-end special. That means you can work your way through a fair few different stalls without spending a fortune on a single plate.
Beyond the food, the weather-proof Mexican Beer Hall handles the entertainment. There's a Tortilla Slap Challenge, a Hot Taco Challenge, mariachis, roaming luchadores and folk dancers, and an award-winning tequila bar pouring margaritas, micheladas and mezcal. Signature Brew is the host and organiser — a music bar and brewery that describes its aim as bringing people together with beer, booze and live music.
