Christmas storytelling session where children visit Father Christmas in the Marine Invertebrates Gallery, with a photo and a small gift.
Father Christmas is taking over the Natural History Museum on Tuesday 1 December for a storytelling session. He'll be set up in the Marine Invertebrates Gallery, where children can visit him in his wintery wonderland and sit in for a special Christmas story. The whole thing runs for 45 minutes, and each child's ticket covers up to two adults, so you can bring along a couple of grown-ups to share it with.
There's a bit more to it than just the story, too. Every child gets a photo with Father Christmas and a small gift to take home. The museum is also putting out a special T. rex tree decoration for visitors to take away, and the animatronic T. rex is on hand wearing its own dino-sized Christmas jumper, which is a nice touch if you're heading through the galleries anyway. The session is wheelchair accessible.
