Slayyyter, the St. Louis rapper behind 'Daddy AF', plays The Roundhouse with Pearly Drops on her 'The WOR$T Girl in the World Tour'.
Slayyyter plays The Roundhouse on Thursday 5 November, part of her THE WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR. She's billed as the 'WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD' for this run, and Pearly Drops are on the bill too.
If you've followed her for a while, you'll know the name has shifted around her records. She started with a self-titled mixtape back in 2019, followed by her debut Troubled Paradise in 2021 and STARFCKER in 2023. This tour is built around her third album, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, which she describes as her most authentically her. The viral hit 'Daddy AF' even landed a spot on the soundtrack of Anora*, the Oscar winner for Best Picture, and she's opened for Tove Lo and Kesha along the way.
She draws on her St. Louis upbringing for the sound, which she calls 'iPod music' — a mix of feral punk, corroded pop and raunchy rap. She's not shy about the shift in direction, saying it kills the Slayyyter fans knew so the real one could be born. Throughout the tour, she donates £1 from every ticket sold to local organisations supporting LGBTQI+ communities.
