Family-friendly climb of The Chimney Lift with views over the London skyline during the venue's October Half Term and Halloween programme.
The Chimney Lift is running at Battersea Power Station from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November, as part of the venue's October half term activities. It's located on Level One of Turbine Hall A, and the main draw is the view it gives across the London skyline. If you've spent time around the Power Station, you know the scale of the place, and this is one of the ways to actually get up into it.
It's set up as a family-friendly activity, and it doesn't sit on its own. Around it, you'll find Jurassic World: The Experience, the Macaroni Penguin soft play centre, and Prospect Place Playground, with baby-changing areas on site. If you're bringing kids, that puts a few options in one spot rather than having to trek across the estate.
The lift is also part of the venue's Halloween programme, which runs alongside it. That includes building a LEGO Ghost Street to take home, a LEGO Halloween hunt in store, MAC Halloween Makeup Transformations, and a Halloween Silent Disco at Control Room B. If you're planning a full day, you can also explore Lift 109 or catch the latest releases at The Cinema at the Arches. It's the kind of setup where you can pick one thing or string a few together.
