JOIA Rooftop Halloween Movie Pop-Up

JOIA Rooftop is bringing back its Halloween movie pop-up for a third year, running from Thursday 29th to Saturday 31st October at art'otel London Battersea Power Station. It's a two-part evening: a multi-course dinner at JOIA, followed by an open-air screening on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Power Station.

JOIA is the first London restaurant from two-Michelin-starred Portuguese chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, and the food follows his Iberian heritage. He works with authentic ingredients from across the Iberian Peninsula and pairs them with British produce, so the menu draws on both sides of the Pyrenees. The restaurant's pastel-hued rooms open onto a terrace with a rooftop pool and skyline views, and that's where the cinema part happens. After dinner, you head up to the open-sky terrace and settle into cosy chairs or plush, shareable sofas. They provide complimentary gourmet popcorn, heaters, and hot water bottles to keep the October chill at bay, and bar manager Alessandro Mannello has a cocktail menu with twelve signature drinks to go with it.

There's a different classic on each of the three nights: Edward Scissorhands on Thursday 29th, Ghostbusters on Friday 30th, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday 31st. The whole thing runs from 17:30 to 22:00, with dinner from 17:30 to 19:00 and the screening starting at 19:00.

Tickets start at £79.50 per person for a chair seat, and £190.80 per person for a sofa seat — a sofa is for two guests and requires two sofa tickets. Drinks and service charge are extra, and it's over-18s only. The venue is JOIA Restaurant & Rooftop, 16th floor, art'otel London Battersea Power Station, 1 Electric Blvd, SW11 8BJ, Battersea.
