Sensory Superstars

Sensory Superstars is back at Broadwaters Children's Centre on Monday 19 October, running from 1:15 to 3:00pm. It's a free Stay & Play session for babies aged 0 to 18 months, and if you're in that window, it's one of those things you can just turn up to without worrying about a ticket.

The whole point of a sensory session is exactly what it sounds like: it's built around things babies can see, hear, touch, and smell. At this age, that usually means a mix of textures, sounds, and colours that they can explore at their own pace, with you right there beside them. It's a Stay & Play, so you're not just dropping them off; you stay and play along with them, which is half the fun when they're this small.

One of the best things about this one is that it's not a one-off. It runs every Monday throughout the Summer term, so if you can't make the 19th, there are plenty more to choose from. After today, the sessions continue on 26 October, then 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 November, and finally 7, 14 and 21 December. That's a good stretch of Mondays to work around, so you can pick the ones that fit your week rather than trying to squeeze it all in at once.
