Contemporary dance show 'Delay the Sadness' by Sharon Eyal and her company S-E-D, marking the company's return to Sadler's Wells.
Sharon Eyal is back at Sadler's Wells Theatre from 4 to 6 February 2027, with her company S-E-D performing Delay the Sadness. It's the latest work from Eyal, and it marks the company's return to the venue after the Olivier Award-winning Into the Hairy and the immersive dance show R.O.S.E in 2025. The music is by Josef Laimon.
S-E-D grew out of a decades-long creative partnership between Eyal and her partner Gai Behar, who joined forces in 2005. Before that, Eyal had spent eighteen years dancing with the Batsheva Dance Company in Jerusalem, where she eventually started choreographing. Over the last twenty years, the pair have staged projects including the acclaimed trilogy Love Cycle and have worked with houses like the Paris Opera, Nederlands Dans Theater and Staatsballett Berlin. They've also stepped into fashion and music, collaborating with Christian Dior Couture and the label YOUNG, as well as artists like Ben UFO and Jamie xx.
