Relaxed morning session for visitors with disabilities, neurodivergent people and sensory needs to explore the work of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant.
Tate Britain is running relaxed mornings for its exhibition Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant: Inside Bloomsbury, with the next session on Wednesday 18 November. It's part of a regular slot that runs every third Wednesday of the month from 18 November 2026 through to 17 March 2027, from 10.00 to 11.00.
These mornings are designed for anyone disabled or neurodivergent, and for visitors with sensory needs who prefer a quieter way to see the work. Numbers are kept limited, and there are ear defenders, an access station and a quiet breakout space available on the day. You're welcome to bring along family, friends or carers too.
Inside the exhibition, you'll find more than 300 portraits, still lifes, landscapes and decorative works on furniture, ceramics and textiles by Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. They were two of the most celebrated British artists of the twentieth century and core members of the Bloomsbury Group, whose commitment to freedom and radical experimentation reshaped art, literature and societal thought in Britain. The show, organised by Tate Britain with Charleston and supported by Kim Jones and Farrow & Ball, also restages the artists' studio at their Sussex home, Charleston. One room contains sexually explicit content.
