Stand-up and character comedy show by Rachel Fairburn, blending new stand-up with all-new characters.
Rachel Fairburn brings her new show Vexy Beasts to the Leicester Square Theatre on Friday 6 November, her first London date since her 2025 run Side Eye. It's a new hour that blends brand-new stand-up with all-new character comedy, so you'll get both the straight talking and the voices in one go.
Fairburn has been a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2014, and Vexy Beasts follows a long string of shows there: All the Fun of the Fairburn, Skulduggery, Her Majesty, The Wolf at the Door, The People's Princess, Can I Be Awful?, Showgirl and Side Eye. That character work is a big part of what she does, and the critics have noticed it too — The Guardian called her a skilled impressionist, and The Skinny described her as "bright, brave and bitterly enjoyable."
Outside the Fringe, she co-hosts the international hit podcast All Killa No Filla and has appeared on Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled on Dave, Richard Osman's House of Games on BBC Two and Russell Howard Hour Life Lesson on Sky. Rolling Stone has called her the "Rock 'n' Roll Star of British Comedy," which gives you a fair idea of the energy she brings to the stage.
