Family Christmas lights tour aboard a vintage Routemaster double-decker, with a Paddington animation, sing-alongs and Paddington afternoon tea.
Brigit's Bakery is bringing the Paddington Christmas Lights Bus Tour to London from 11 November 2026 through to 5 January 2027. It's a daily run, with departures at 12:30, 15:00 and 17:30, so you can pick a lunchtime, afternoon or evening slot to suit you. The whole thing sets off from Trafalgar Square, 8 Northumberland Avenue, WC2N 5BY, and takes you around some of the city's most famous Christmas displays.
The tour runs on a vintage double-decker Routemaster, a 1960s classic with no seatbelts, and the route hits plenty of Paddington's favourite London landmarks: Regent Street, Oxford Street, the Trafalgar Square tree, the London Eye, the Ritz and Hamleys. Each table has a built-in screen showing a Paddington-guided animation of the journey, with Paddington and Mrs Bird sharing the bear's view of the city as you roll past. On board, an entertainer leads sing-alongs and family games, and everyone takes home a Paddington travel cup.
There's a Paddington-themed afternoon tea served on the bus, and it includes the 'Best Marmalade Sandwich Ever'. They've got traditional, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and halal options, and you can pre-purchase Prosecco or Champagne to take away. The tour is for children aged 5 to 96, so it's as much for adults as it is for kids.
