Night session of Tulleys Pumpkin Farm, with illuminated pumpkin sculptures, themed displays, a vintage carousel and live music.
The Night Pumpkin Festival comes to Novotel London West on Sunday 25 October, bringing a slice of the countryside into the city for one night. It's the London session of Tulleys Pumpkin Farm, which is one of the largest pumpkin festivals in Europe, and it takes the illuminated sculptures and themed displays from the farm and sets them up here instead.
Once the sun goes down, the site transforms into 'Pumpkin Valley'. The main draw is the thousands of pumpkins carved into glowing sculptures, arranged into arches and alleys that you walk through. There's a vintage carousel on site, more than 30 photo spots to stop at, and live music playing throughout the night. The organisers bill it as one of Britain's brightest autumn events, and given the scale they're talking about, it's more of a walk-through experience than a single display.
It's a night session, so you'll be seeing the pumpkins lit up rather than in the daylight. The whole thing is based on the work Tulleys does at their farm, so the sculptures and the themed layout are the same ones that usually draw crowds to the countryside. Having it in London means you can get the same thing without the trip out of the city.
