Guided three-hour walk through local green spaces in Camden led by Castlehaven's Environmental Team to explore biodiversity and wellbeing.
Nature Walks are back at the Horticulture Hub on Friday 23 October, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. They're part of Castlehaven's Environmental programme, and the next one follows on Friday 30 October, same time. The walks are led by the organisation's Environmental Team, who take the group through local green spaces in Camden to look at biodiversity and the natural environment. They frame it as a wellbeing activity — fresh air and a chance to connect with nature — and each session runs for three hours, for adults aged 18 and over.
It's worth knowing who's behind it. Castlehaven Community Association is an award-winning association in the heart of Camden Town, holding NCVO Trusted Charity Status and a Green Care Quality Mark. They do a lot more than these walks: last year they delivered 3,945 emergency food parcels to local people in need, and their Health Haven health and wellbeing programme received 50 referrals. The Nature Walks sit within that broader work, so the Environmental Team knows the local area well.

The walks start at the Horticulture Hub, on Hawley Road, London NW1 8RG. From there, you'll head out into the green spaces around Camden for the morning. It's a three-hour session, so you'll be out for a good while, and it's open to anyone 18 or over. If you can't make the 23rd, the next one is on Friday 30 October, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
