Get On My Wave: Mezzanine Live

Mezzanine are playing Soul Mama Islington on Friday 23 October, with the night billed as Get On My Wave. It's a live session in North London, and the set is built around that title.

If you've been following them, you'll know the name. Get On My Wave is the new record they're working from, and this is one of the dates where they're taking it out of the studio and onto a stage. The set leans on the new material, so it's a good place to hear the latest songs as they're meant to be played, rather than just on a stream. They'll be playing through the record, and since it's a live session, the focus is on the music itself.

Soul Mama Islington is the venue, and it's right in the heart of Islington, so it's an easy one to get to if you're already in North London. The session starts at 18:30, which is early enough that you can still make a proper evening of it afterwards. If you've got the record on repeat, this is the chance to hear it played live, and if you haven't caught up yet, it's a decent way to get into it.

So, Mezzanine at Soul Mama Islington on Friday 23 October, starting at 18:30.
