UK music documentary film festival with screenings, director Q&As and special guests across seven London cinemas.
Doc'n Roll returns to London from 22 October to 8 November 2026, with screenings spread across seven cinemas: the Barbican Cinema, BFI IMAX, ICA, Rio Cinema, Hackney Picturehouse, Regent Street Cinema and The Garden Cinema. It's the UK's music documentary festival, now in its 13th edition, and it celebrates music subcultures through sound and vision. The programme runs for 18 days, with short and feature-length films about musicians and music.
The range is wide. It covers punk, jazz and blues, electronica, prog-folk, Afro-funk, queer art-pop and the indigenous sounds of the Arctic. There are four world premieres, eleven UK premieres and five London premieres, so a fair few of the films will be showing here for the first time. Many sessions are paired with director Q&As and special guest appearances, which give you a chance to hear from the people behind the films after the credits roll.

This London run is the main event, with the screenings split between the seven cinemas across the city from 22 October to 8 November.
