A live TED event bringing together fourteen speakers from various fields under the theme Dare to Hope, with talks, live performances and an after-party.
TEDx Hope Street comes to the Everyman Theatre on Saturday 6 February 2027, starting at 6pm and running until late. It's the first edition of a planned five-year series, organised independently under the global TED licence and run by a small team of volunteers. The theme is Dare to Hope, and it brings together fourteen speakers from business, the arts, economy, education, entertainment, science, technology and community life.
The organisers have picked Hope Street for a reason: they describe it as a place where different worlds meet, and they're framing the day as the first chapter of a movement to build a growing community of people in Liverpool who share ideas and conversation. The format runs across one Saturday with talks and live performances, and the night closes with an after-party.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Liverpool and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

General admission tickets are £70 to £100, and there are group rates if you're bringing a crowd: £60 per ticket for four or more people, and £50 per ticket for eight or more. There's also a Supporter ticket from £200, with all the difference going to the event. The after-party is £25, though it's free for Supporter ticket holders. It kicks off at 6pm and goes until late, so you'll want to clear your Saturday night.
