A ministry journey connecting Chinese and UK churches through worship, seminars and networking on the historic Logos Hope ship.
NEXT 2026 - UK Chinese Ministry Journey comes to Liverpool on Saturday 31 October, hosted on board the Logos Hope, the floating book fair currently docked at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal on Princes Parade. It's a full day, running from 10:00 to 17:00, with doors opening at 09:30.
NEXT is a platform that brings together Christians, ministry organisations, and churches with a heart for Chinese ministry in the UK. It's run jointly by Alpha UK, the British & Foreign Bible Society, London City Mission, and Operation Mobilisation UK. The day is rooted in Bible engagement, evangelism, and mission, and it's built around bringing Chinese and UK local churches together to explore their mutual impact. It follows the response to NEXT25, which gathered around 150 leaders from across the country.
The programme is a full one: worship, panel interviews, seminars, a keynote message, lunch, and networking. It's conducted trilingually in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with interpretation provided throughout. The setting is the Logos Hope, a ship that has carried missionaries to Hong Kong and China and now serves as a floating venue docked in the city.
