Informal, free creative session where artists, filmmakers and the creatively curious share ideas, work on projects and develop new skills.
PVTV is hosting another Creative Meet-Up at DoES Liverpool on Thursday 12 November, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. It's an informal, collaborative session where artists, filmmakers and the creatively curious come together to share ideas, work on projects and develop new skills. The whole thing is run by Simon Jones.
If you're not sure where you fit in, the description is pretty wide: it's open to anyone interested in filmmaking, animation or experimental art. You don't need any experience to turn up, just enthusiasm. The session is designed as a supportive space to brainstorm, get feedback and connect with other people working in similar fields, so it's as much about the conversation as it is about the making.
That's the core of it — a room of people talking through what they're working on, tossing around ideas and helping each other get stuck into their projects. Whether you've got a half-finished short film, a few animation tests, or just a vague concept you've been chewing over, it's a place to bring it and see what happens when you run it past other people. And if you're just curious about how any of it works, you can still come along and listen in.
