GOTG Speed Friending (Over 25s)

Girls On The Go are hosting a speed friending night for over 25s at 92 Degrees Hardman Street on Tuesday 3 November, starting at 18:15. It's a girl-only social, so it's just women there, and the whole point is to meet other women in the city without needing to bring a friend along with you.

If you're not familiar with them, Girls On The Go (GOTG) is a girl-only social and wellness community that describes its mission as making the UK a less lonely place for women. They run a wide range of weekly events across the country — creative painting workshops, book clubs, running clubs, yoga and pilates classes, and the UK's largest girl-only bingo, alongside socials and balls. They hold them in accessible, affordable spaces where women can make friends even if they come along alone. Since 2023, the community has grown to over 300,000 women and helped thousands find their feet; one member, Caitlin (28), said joining transformed her life after she'd found herself with zero friends in Liverpool. Co-founder Steph was crowned Merseyside Woman of the Year.

This particular night is a speed friending session, so you'll be rotating through short conversations with other women rather than sticking to one table all evening. It's aimed at the over 25s, which keeps the age group roughly in the same ballpark.
