After-hours Halloween ghost hunt in which guests explore the upper floor of The Coffee House in small groups with paranormal equipment, without actors or staged scares.
DeadLive Events are running a ghost hunt at The Coffee House in Wavertree on Friday 30 October, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. The venue is a Grade II listed building that's been part of local life since the eighteenth century, and the hunt takes place after hours on the upper floor, which you reach by two flights of stairs. It's a proper after-dark session, so you'll be in the building when the doors are shut to the public.
DeadLive frame the night as an authentic paranormal investigation rather than a Halloween scare attraction. They're clear about that from the start: there are no actors, no staged scares, and no manufactured ghostly activity, and they make it known that paranormal activity can't be guaranteed. You'll explore approved areas of the venue in small, supervised groups, using equipment provided by the team. The night is built around a range of experiments: EVP and audio recording, spirit-box sessions, EMF and environmental monitoring, dowsing, thermal imaging, and traditional vigils. You don't need any previous ghost-hunting experience to take part, and everyone walks away with a Paranormal Investigator Certificate and a ghost-hunting gift.
