Solo charm bracelet-making session for women from the girl-only community club Girls On The Go, with the organiser taking photos and videos.
Girls On The Go are hosting a charm bracelet workshop at Pocket Cafe Bar on Monday 23 November, from 6pm to 8pm. It's a solo session, which means you come on your own rather than bringing a group, and everyone sits together. They provide the materials, and you spend the evening making your own charm bracelet, accessorising it however you like.
If you've not come across them before, Girls On The Go (GOTG) is a girl-only community and wellness club that's been running since 2023. Their whole thing is about making the UK a less lonely place for women, and they've helped thousands of girls make friends through weekly, affordable, inclusive events. This one fits right in with the creative side of what they do — they run painting workshops, book clubs, running clubs, yoga and pilates classes, and the UK's largest girl-only bingo. They operate city hubs across the country, with Liverpool alongside Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester, and they keep the community going between events with an online WhatsApp group.
This particular session is aimed at anyone who identifies as a woman. You'll be sitting with other solo attendees, so you're in the same boat as everyone else in the room. While you're working on your bracelet, the organiser takes photos and videos to post on their social media pages, so keep that in mind if you're not one for the camera. One practical thing to know upfront: the venue isn't wheelchair accessible.
