The Monster Mash

The Monster Mash is a family-friendly Halloween silent disco for children aged 3 and up, running at Kingsley and Co on Saturday 31 October. It's put on by Ykids Ltd, and the headphones are provided on the day, so you don't need to bring your own. Fancy dress is encouraged but not essential, so whether you turn up in full costume or just as you are, it's the same deal.

It's aimed at little monsters, groovy ghosts and their grown-ups, and children must be accompanied by at least one adult. Both Ykids and Kingsley & Co are Learning Destinations for Children's University, so if you've got a Passport to Learning, bring it along to get it stamped. The venue's family workshops run in a new classroom down one flight of stairs, so it's a dedicated space for the session rather than a shared room.

Tickets range from £0 to £6.13, booked through Eventbrite, and there's a £5 non-refundable booking fee on workshop tickets. It starts at 10:30 AM on Halloween morning, so it's a late-morning thing rather than a late-night one. You'll find Kingsley and Co at 329 Stanley Road, Liverpool L20 3EH.
