Free digital quiz night marking 26 years of Gilmore Girls, with themed rounds on the show's plotlines, quotes and music cues, themed cocktails and immersive visuals.
Camp and Furnace is hosting a Gilmore Girls Quiz on Friday 6 November, a night dedicated to the show that first aired in 2000 and ran for seven original seasons before the revival A Year in the Life. It's been 26 years since the first episode, and the quiz leans into the things that kept the show in the cultural conversation: the rapid-fire dialogue, the quirky characters, and that specific mix of family, friendship and pop-culture references.
The night works its way through several themed rounds covering the major plotlines, obscure background details, quotes and music cues, so it's built for the super-fan. It doesn't shy away from the show's most enduring tropes, either — Lorelai and Rory's coffee addiction, Friday night dinners at Luke's diner and life in the fictional town of Stars Hollow are all fair game. There are themed cocktails and immersive visuals running alongside the quiz, and the organisers joke that if eating cake and rewatching Gilmore Girls every autumn is wrong, they don't want to be right.
