Interactive educational show where life-like dinosaurs roam among the audience while presenters explain prehistoric creatures to children aged 3 and over.
Teach Rex are bringing their interactive dinosaur show to Camp and Furnace on Wednesday 28 October, with the session starting at 10:00. The whole thing is run by an award-winning team of primary school teachers who've turned a science lesson into a live show: life-like dinosaurs roam freely among the audience while the presenters explain the anatomy and lives of prehistoric creatures and set right common misconceptions about them. Effects and music round out the hour, and families get up close and personal with the beasts, greeted by baby dinosaurs.
It's a hands-on hour rather than a sit-back-and-watch one, and every child leaves with a 'Dino Booklet' of educational activities and a set of coloured crayons, both included in the ticket price. The show is recommended for children aged 3 and over, and it's gathered more than 4,000 five-star reviews, so it's as much for the adults as for the younger ones.
