Girls-only Halloween bingo night with loud music, flashing lights, four rounds of bingo and awards for the best Halloween outfits.
Ghouls on the Bingo! takes over Camp and Furnace on Wednesday 28 October, a girls-only bingo night run by gotg (Goth On The Go), the weekly events series for girls in Liverpool. It's a themed one, so the Halloween dress-up is part of the draw. The organisers hand out prizes across four rounds of bingo, with awards for the best Halloween outfits on top — and extra credit if you've made your costume yourself.
It's not a quiet night in. The organisers describe it as a two-to-three-hour session of loud music and flashing lights, and it's not meant for coming alone: anyone who turns up on their own is seated with other solo girls at a dedicated table, so you've got a group to sit with from the start. The room holds up to 450, so there's plenty of space for the whole thing to build.
