A storytelling experience of A Christmas Carol by the Christmas spirits, served with afternoon tea at the Everyman Theatre.
Ghosts and Spirits Afternoon Tea: Christmas Past, Present & Future is at the Everyman Theatre on Saturday 28 November, starting at 12pm. It's a pairing of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol and a sitting of afternoon tea, with the story told by the Christmas spirits themselves: the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. You follow the trio through the tale, with tea to match each ghost's time.
It's part of 'Christmas at the Everyman 2026', the theatre's festive season which runs from 14 November 2026 to 16 January 2027. If you're not a tea person, there's a night-time version of the same Dickensian experience on Friday 27 November, called Ghosts & Spirits: Christmas Past, Present & Future, served with three spirited cocktails instead of tea.
