Toddler and pre-school session with creative play, sensory play and story and rhyme time for children aged 0-4 and their carers at the Walker.
Toddler Time is back at the Walker Art Gallery on Friday 23 October, one of several sessions running during term time. It's built for toddlers and pre-schoolers, with creative play, sensory play and story and rhyme time led by facilitators. Those run alongside the usual Big Art activities, so there's plenty to keep little hands busy.
Accompanying babies are very welcome too, and the sessions run within Big Art for Little Artists, a dedicated children's gallery inside the Walker designed for children aged 0-5 to enjoy with their grown-ups. It's a space where they can explore and play without you having to worry about them being too loud or touching things they shouldn't.
There are two one-hour sessions on the day: 10-11am and 11:15am-12:15pm. If Friday doesn't work, it runs on Tuesdays and Fridays during term time, with other dates across October and November. This one is on 23 October, but you'll also find it on 2, 6, 9, 13, 16 and 20 October, and then 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24 and 27 November.
