Olivia Harrison talks live on stage about 'The Third Eye', her book of George Harrison's personal photographs of the Beatles, followed by an audience Q&A.
Olivia Harrison will be in conversation at St George's Hall on Monday 23 November, from 7pm to 9pm. The evening is built around The Third Eye, a collection of George Harrison's personal photographs of the Beatles taken between 1963 and 1969, many of which are being published for the first time. Olivia compiled and curated the book, and she'll be bringing the collection to life on stage.
Those photographs show the band at work and at play, offering a look at the people behind Beatlemania. George once said, "I like cameras because you can see things in a different way, and you can make things look how they feel instead of how they are." That's the spirit that runs through the book, and Olivia โ author, producer and widow of the Beatles' lead guitarist โ will be talking through it live on stage, with an audience Q&A to follow. The book itself includes an introduction by her and essays by Colm Tรณibรญn and George Saunders.
