Rock and roll band Showaddywaddy play their 1970s hits at the historic City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds.
Showaddywaddy are playing City Varieties Music Hall on Friday 30 July 2027, from 19:30 to 21:30. They're a rock and roll band that's been on the go for over five decades, and this is a straight-up live concert.
The set is built around the chart-toppers of the 1970s. You'll hear 'Under the Moon of Love', 'Three Steps to Heaven', 'Hey Rock & Roll', 'When', 'Blue Moon' and 'Pretty Little Angel Eyes' — many of which hit number one across Europe. It's a night of the songs they're best known for, rather than a new album or a themed revue.
They've been around a long time. Formed in Leicester in 1973 from an amalgamation of several local bands, they've sold more than 20 million records and toured the globe, taking their show to all four corners of the UK and beyond. They call themselves 'The Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the World' and say they've lived up to that title for more than fifty years.
