Sensory play, songs and early social play for babies and toddlers aged 6 to 36 months led by a Gymboree expert.
Play & Learn with Gymboree is coming to the East Washington Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Thursday, October 22, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. It's a half-hour session for babies and toddlers aged 6 to 36 months, led by a Gymboree expert.
The program is built around sensory play, songs, and the first steps of social play. The library frames it as a class that bundles physical, social, and cognitive developmental skills into one session. Because of that mix, it works for a range of ages at once: the younger ones learn by watching the older ones, and the older children get to be leaders. That makes it a good fit for siblings to attend together, or for children and adults to grow together.
It's a short window—just thirty minutes—so it's easy to fit into a morning. The session is made possible by the Everwise Foundation through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
