Meet & Play at Wayne

Meet & Play is back at the Wayne Branch Library on Thursday, October 29, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. It's a program for caregivers and children up to five years old, and it runs every Thursday morning at the same time, so if this particular date doesn't work, there's another one the week after.

The library provides books, toys, and games for the session, and you're welcome to bring your own along too. It's designed as a space for caregivers and their little ones to hang out and play together, with the materials already there to get things started.

If you haven't spent much time at the Wayne Branch, it's at 198 South Girls School Road in Indianapolis. The building it's in opened in 1984, after the branch spent its first fifteen years in a storefront on Rockville Road. It went through a $1.1 million renovation in 2020 that added more seating, activity space, study rooms, and a quiet reading area, while keeping its split design with separate children's and adult wings. That children's wing is where you'll find Meet & Play.

It runs from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM every Thursday at the Wayne Branch Library, 198 South Girls School Road, for caregivers and children up to five.
