Family pumpkin carving and decorating session at the park shelter, with pumpkins, tools and paint provided.
Franklin Township Community Park is hosting a pumpkin carving session on Saturday, October 24, from 1 PM to 2 PM. It's a family-oriented afternoon where you can carve and decorate pumpkins together outdoors, and since it's a few days before Halloween, it's a good way to get your porch ready before the trick-or-treaters start showing up.
The best part is that you don't have to bring your own supplies. The park provides the pumpkins, the carving tools, and the paint, so you can just show up and get to work. If you've got a specific look in mind, you're welcome to bring along any extra craft supplies you like to add to the mix. The session takes place outdoors at the park shelter, and children need to be accompanied by an adult.

It's a short window—just one hour—which keeps things focused and makes it easy to fit into a busy Saturday. If you're planning to go, keep in mind that registration is required, and it costs $5 per person. You'll find the session at the park shelter in Franklin Township Community Park, 8801 E Edgewood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46239.
