Halloween edition of the Frequency Shift live music series at The Backlot, with a $12 show ticket and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase.
Frequency Shift is back at The Backlot on Friday, October 30, for its tenth edition, and this one comes with a Halloween theme. It's a live music night in Indianapolis, and the lineup for the evening is Orc Mommy, Sheetmetal Girl/Raptured Mud, and Drekka. If you've been following the series, you know the format: a few acts sharing one bill, live music on stage, and a crowd that shows up for the music rather than the spectacle.
The Halloween angle is where the night changes a bit from a standard show. They're encouraging everyone to come in costume, so if you've been looking for an excuse to dust off something from your closet or put together something new, this is a good spot for it. It's a costume night, but it's still a music night first, with the three acts taking turns throughout the evening.
As for what you'll find inside, there will be non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase, so you can grab something to sip on while you listen. It's a straightforward setupβlive music, costumes, and a few drinks to keep you going.

The show runs from 8 PM to 11 PM, and tickets are $12. If you're planning to go, keep in mind that it's a Friday night in late October, so it's a good one to have on your calendar a bit ahead of time.
