Industrial metal show by Genitorturers on their Live + Lewd Tour, with special guests Nathan James and JFKREUZ, at Turntable in Broad Ripple.
Genitorturers bring their Live + Lewd Tour to Turntable on Tuesday, October 27, as part of a run that takes them through Indianapolis. They're fronted by Gen, and they've been working the industrial metal scene since the early '90s, building a reputation for combining metal with fetish-driven theatrics. Their live shows are part concert and part shock-art spectacle, with BDSM-inspired visuals, high-voltage stunts, and taboo-breaking performance pieces alongside songs like "Lecher Bitch" and "Devil in a Bottle." Among their cult-favorite releases are Sin City and Blackheart Revolution, and they cite Rammstein, Nine Inch Nails, and Alice Cooper as influences.
Two special guests open the night. Nathan James is an independent industrial metal artist who moved from Colorado to LA in 2017 and draws on Marilyn Manson, Korn, Slipknot, and Eminem. JFKREUZ is the Bloomington-based DJ and electro-industrial act Josh Kreuzman, who has performed on the dark electronic, goth, and industrial scene since the early 2000s and hosts the monthly Gallow Dance night in Bloomington. The show is presented by Forty5 Presents.
