Free screening of 'The Muppet Christmas Carol' at the Schrott Center for the Arts, with a Santa meet-and-greet, glitter tattoos and a Christmas craft.
The Muppet Christmas Carol screens at the Schrott Center for the Arts on Tuesday, December 1, as part of Butler Arts' Free Community Movie Series. It's a free screening, open to the public, and you don't need a ticket to get in.
The movie is just one stop in a series that runs through the fall and holiday season, bringing family-friendly films to Indianapolis. Each screening comes with themed pre-show activities, and this Christmas classic arrives with glitter tattoos, a Santa meet-and-greet, and a Christmas-themed craft before the movie starts. If you're bringing kids, arriving early lets them work through the activities before the film rolls.
The Schrott Center for the Arts is at 610 W. 46th St., on Butler University's campus in the heart of the Midtown Arts District. It's near the new Whitehill Ballroom, a flexible, state-of-the-art performance space. Concessions are available by card only, so keep that in mind if you're planning on snacks. Parking is in the Sunset Avenue garage.

The screening starts at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM. Since the pre-show activities happen before the movie, coming early gives you time for the tattoos, the Santa visit, and the craft. It's free and open to the public, no ticket required.
