Author talk with Jean-Yves Pitoun about his novel 'The Three Partisans', a Jewish Book Council program of the Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts.
Jean-Yves Pitoun will be at the Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center on Tuesday, October 27, to talk about his book The Three Partisans. The talk runs from 7 PM to 9 PM at the JCC, 6701 Hoover Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
The Three Partisans is historical fiction that draws on Pitoun's own father's experiences in the French Resistance. It's a World War II saga centered on three unlikely heroes whose friendship, love, and bravery become their weapons against impossible odds. The book takes those personal family stories and builds them into a larger narrative of the Resistance during the war.
The talk is part of the 28th Annual Ann Katz Festival of Books & Arts, presented by JCC Indianapolis and sponsored by the JCC's Arts & Education Committee as a Jewish Book Council program. The festival has been running for nearly three decades, and this is one of the author talks scheduled for this year's edition.
