Interactive, immersive murder-mystery dinner set in Old Hollywood with a chef-curated menu, presented by The Murder Mystery Company.
The Murder Mystery Company is bringing Murder at The Marquis: An Old Hollywood Mystery to Walker Street Kitchen at Marriott Marquis Houston on Friday, October 30. It's a murder mystery dinner set in the glamour and intrigue of Old Hollywood, and since it falls right before Halloween, it's a good excuse to lean into the season. The evening is interactive and immersive: an elegant gathering is derailed by a shocking murder, and you're one of the guests who has to figure out who did it.
That means you aren't just sitting there watching a play. You'll be examining clues, interrogating suspicious characters, and piecing together the mystery alongside everyone else at the table. The night pairs that suspense and comedy with a chef-curated menu meant to fit the Hollywood elite theme, so you're eating your way through the case. The whole experience runs about two and a half hours, and it's for ages 21 and over.
If you're the type who likes to commit to a theme, there's a prize for the best-dressed detective. They've listed a few categories to give you a head start: Vintage Hollywood Glamour, Mobster Chic, Flapper Fashion, and Elegant Cocktail Attire. You can go full costume or just dress up for the occasion—either way, it's part of the fun.
