A slow-paced autumn creative evening with four hands-on stations to make a little book, botanical prints, a vellum bookmark and a dried-flower hanging.
Gather & Glow is a cozy fall creative workshop running on Saturday nights at Restoration Studio in Sawyer Yards. It's led by Adrienne Binder, and the whole thing is framed as a warm, slow-paced autumn experience rather than a traditional art class. There's no prior art experience needed, and the evening is a guided making session instead of a lesson, so you can just settle in and work at your own pace.
Across four hands-on stations, you'll make four different things to take home. First, a Little Book of Good Things; then, botanical prints made by pressing leaves and grasses; a translucent vellum bookmark; and a hanging decorated with dried botanicals. You move through the stations and leave with everything you've made. It's pitched as a date night, a girls' night out, or a mindful alternative to a typical paint-and-sip—something for adults looking for more than a standard craft workshop.
The workshop is open to ages 14 and over, so it works as a night out with friends or something to do with a teenager. It runs on Saturdays from 6 PM to 8 PM, with sessions on October 17, 24, and 31, and November 7, 14, and 21. You can pick the date that fits your schedule best.
