Urzila Carlson: Fatty On A Yacht Tour

Urzila Carlson brings her Fatty On a Yacht tour to The Bruce Guthro Theatre in Halifax on Thursday 4 March and Friday 5 March. It's a stand-up comedy show, part of the international run of the tour, and it's her only stop in the city.

Carlson has become one of the most recognised names in comedy across Australia and New Zealand, and she's built an international following on a dry delivery, sharp observations and a candid take on everyday life. Born in South Africa and based in New Zealand, she's won six New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards for Best Female Comedian and several Melbourne International Comedy Festival People's Choice Awards. You might recognise her from her Netflix stand-up special Overqualified Loser and Netflix's Comedians of the World, or from Taskmaster NZ, QI, Have You Been Paying Attention?, and The Masked Singer Australia. She also appeared in the Netflix film Kinda Pregnant alongside Amy Schumer and Will Forte, and she creates and hosts the podcast That's Enough Already!.

The Bruce Guthro Theatre is inside Casino Nova Scotia, and it's a 19+ room with grand chandeliers and a warm ambiance. The show runs on Thursday 4 March, with doors at 6 PM and the show starting at 7 PM. On Friday 5 March, doors are again at 6 PM and the show at 7 PM, with a second showing at 9:45 PM that same night. If you're planning to go, just keep in mind it's a 19+ venue.
