The South End Vintage Market is back at the Halifax Curling Club on Saturday, August 15, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. It's a monthly gathering that's been running since 2022, hosted by Esmé and Evee, and it's a regular stop on the city's vintage market circuit.
On the floor, you'll find more than 40 of the Maritimes' best vintage vendors. The range is wide: clothing and home goods sit alongside records, books, craft and food, so it's as much for the serious collector as it is for someone just looking for a one-of-a-kind piece. Esmé and Evee describe it as a chill day out for unique style hunters.
Beyond the shopping, there's a mending circle. You can bring along a pile of clothes that need repair and find the tools and materials to give them a second life, so it's a good spot to fix up the things you already own while you're browsing for new ones. It's that mix of buying and maintaining that sets it apart from a standard market.
