Family ice-skating show with characters from Disney's 'Frozen' and 'Encanto', including Anna, Elsa, Mirabel and the Madrigal family.
Disney On Ice presents Magic of Family is coming to the Scotiabank Centre for a run of shows over the Christmas holiday, starting on December 24. It's a family ice skating show that brings together characters from across Walt Disney Animation Studios, with the set split between two very different worlds.
The first half takes you to the icy kingdom of Arendelle with Anna and Elsa from Frozen. From there, the show shifts to the world of Encanto with Mirabel and the Madrigal family, brought to life in vibrant colour on the ice. Along the way, Stitch and Angel make an appearance, and the audience is encouraged to sing along to the best-known songs from the films. It's staged for a general audience: everyone aged two and over needs a ticket, and children under two are admitted free on a parent's lap.
If you're bringing the kids, they can come dressed as their favourite character, though anyone 14 and older can't wear a costume mask. There's also a 'Magical Pass' experience available that adds premium reserved seats, a special venue entrance, a character meet-and-greet, and a keepsake lanyard.
