Free outdoor movie night screening of Paddington 2 at Queen's Marque, part of the monthly animated film series.
Paddington 2 is showing outdoors at Queen's Marque on Monday, August 31, from 8:02 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. It's part of the Queen's Marque outdoor movie series, which runs on Monday nights throughout the summer. There are no tickets to buy and no registration required, so you just turn up.
The screening is presented by Park Video Entertainment with Build Nova Scotia. August is themed 'Animated Icons & Unexpected Heroes', with animated films filling the month, and Paddington 2 fits right into that. It's the second outing for the polite, marmalade-loving bear from Peru, who spends the movie hunting for a birthday present for Aunt Lucy that's gone missing.
Since it's an outdoor screening, you'll want to come prepared. They encourage everyone to bring a chair or a blanket to sit on, and bug spray is a good call for a night by the water. You're welcome to bring your own snacks, too, and outside food is fine. It's a free event, so you can just gather your things and head down to the waterfront.
