A fashion show presented by the Canadian Sea Turtle Network on the Halifax Waterfront.
The Canadian Sea Turtle Network is bringing the Jellyfish Fashion Show to the Halifax Waterfront on Thursday, August 13. It's a mid-afternoon thing, running from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., so you can catch it and still have the rest of your day. You'll find it near the Waterpolo resto at the Cunard Residences, right on the waterfront.
The show is presented by the Canadian Sea Turtle Network, a group that works with sea turtles across the country. If you're bringing kids along, they have a dedicated children's programme you can find at seaturtle.ca/kids/, which gives a bit more context on what they do. The fashion show itself takes the name from the jellyfish, so it's a look at the creatures of the ocean through a runway lens.

Since it's on the waterfront, it's an easy one to walk to if you're already downtown. The 1:30 p.m. start means it's a daytime outing rather than an evening commitment, and it wraps up by 3:00 p.m., leaving you plenty of time to wander around the rest of the waterfront afterwards. It's a short, focused session—an hour and a half in total—so it's a low-pressure way to spend a Thursday afternoon.
