Gerry Dee: The New Stuff Tour

Gerry Dee is bringing The New Stuff Tour to The Bruce Guthro Theatre on Friday, March 26, 2027. It's a stand-up comedy show, and as the title suggests, it's built around his latest material. If you've followed his work, you know he's spent the last couple of years touring his Netflix special, Funny You Should Say That, which came out in November 2025. This is the next chapter after that.

Dee is a familiar face on Canadian screens. He was the star and co-creator of the CBC comedy Mr. D, which ran for eight seasons, and he currently hosts Family Feud Canada. He's also working in the US: he plays Templeton Dudge in the FOX comedy Animal Control and has appeared as a guest star on the CBS comedy DMV. Between the stand-up, the hosting, and the acting, he's kept a steady presence across both sides of the border.

He's also written two books. His first, Teaching: It's Harder Than It Looks, came out in 2012 and became a national bestseller, and his second, Funny You Should Say That, followed in October 2023. The title is the same as the Netflix special, so there's a bit of a thread running through his recent work.

The show is at The Bruce Guthro Theatre, inside Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax. It starts at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:00 PM. One thing to keep in mind: this is a 19+ event, so you'll need your ID.
