Concert featuring Fractal Sun, An Abstract Illusion, The Anchoret, Omnivide, and Voidchaser, presented by Chaotic Good Music in collaboration with ProgStorm Festival.
Fractal Sun are playing the Seahorse Tavern on Friday, August 28, as part of a five-band bill that brings together acts from Sweden, Costa Rica, Quebec, Montreal and Moncton. The night is presented by Chaotic Good Music, in collaboration with ProgStorm Festival, MetalAgora Amqui, Metal Universe and Welkin Entertainment.
The main draw is the Swedish band An Abstract Illusion, who are making their North American debut as part of The Sleeping Cities tour. This is their first time playing this side of the Atlantic, and the Halifax date is one of the stops on that run. They're joined by The Anchoret from Quebec, Omnivide from Moncton, Voidchaser — a project with roots in both Montreal and Stockholm — and the Costa Rican act Fractal Sun.
It's a wide-reaching line-up for one night: a Swedish band on their first North American tour, a Quebec act, a Moncton local, a Montreal-Stockholm crossover, and a band from Costa Rica, all sharing the same stage. The bill is put together by Chaotic Good Music, with ProgStorm Festival, MetalAgora Amqui, Metal Universe and Welkin Entertainment also on board.
