Leeds post-punk band Yard Act live at the Barrowland Ballroom on their You're Gonna Need A Little Music tour, with special guests Silver Gore.
Yard Act are playing The Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Wednesday 11 November, as part of their You're Gonna Need A Little Music tour. The Leeds post-punk band brings their sharp-witted sound to Glasgow's East End, one stop in a wider run of dates across the UK. They're joined by special guests Silver Gore, who'll open the night.
If you've followed them since they first appeared, you'll know the sort of thing they do: post-punk with a bit of a lean towards the spoken and the observational, and lyrics that don't shy away from a pointed line. This is a tour around the new material, so the set will be built on the songs from You're Gonna Need A Little Music.
It's a general admission standing show, so there are no seats to hold onto — you'll be on your feet for the whole thing. There are a couple of age restrictions to keep in mind before you book: no one under 14 is permitted, and anyone under 16 has to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. If you're bringing a younger sibling or a teen friend, make sure you've got that sorted.
