The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup returns to the UK with junior, open and women's cyclo-cross races in Kelvingrove Park.
The UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup comes to Kelvingrove Park on Sunday 13 December, from 11:00. It's the third round of the World Cup, the top series of the UCI Cyclo-cross International Calendar, which the UCI and Flanders Classics run as a winter festival of racing over mud and challenging obstacles. This stop marks the series' return to the UK after 12 years, and it's being delivered by British Cycling Ventures alongside Event Scotland, Glasgow Life and Flanders Classics, following the crowds the Lloyds Tour of Britain drew to Scottish roads.
The day runs three races. A junior race opens the programme, followed by the elite men's and women's races, with the open and women's categories held concurrently. The World Cup is the premier series of the UCI's international cyclo-cross calendar, and this round is one of several that make up the season.
