Tinie Tempah

Tinie Tempah is back in Scotland on Monday 30 November, playing a headline show at the O2 Academy Glasgow. It's his first time back on this side of the border in a while, and he's the only name on the bill.

If you've followed him from the start, you'll know him as one of the figures who helped shift the sound of British rap. He's described himself as a genre-defying icon, and that's a fair summary of what he does: he blends grime, hip hop and electronic music into the kind of anthems that dominated the airwaves and defined a generation. He's as known for his chart-topping hits as for his high-fashion collaborations, and he's always kept a foot in both worlds.

After some time away from music, he's returning with a clear focus: he wants to get people dancing again, offline and together. The Glasgow date is part of a four-date tour, with stops in Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and London, so this is one of only a handful of shows he's playing across the UK. It's a headline set, so the night is built around him.

Doors open at 19:00 and there's a 23:00 curfew, so you've got plenty of time to get in and settle before things kick off. One thing to keep in mind: the show is restricted to ages 16 and over, so make sure you've got that sorted before you head down.
